GOD HEALS A MAN WHO RECEIVES A PHONE CALL FROM THE ANUS
A man knocked at the door of Bishop Opio Wot a Mungu and
sat at the door waiting.
“He is telling me that I am going to die at 2:00
O’clock,” he cried. The Bishop called his mission Deacon and urged him to ask
the man what was happening.
“First wait,” the man bent towards his chair with the
head going right between the legs and the sound of a phone call came from deep
down between those thighs.
“That I have only
two hours left. Please help me, my time is running out,” he reported, more distraught
than ever.
Bishop Opio Wot a Mungu asked the man to tell him why
that was happening to him. To this, he narrated that he had disappointed several
girls by sleeping with them and abandoning them. He said that he knew for sure
the one lady that had paid the sorcerer to kill him. After this the Bishop
asked, “Do you believe Jesus will heal you today?
“Yes,” he replied.
“Put up your hands,” the Bishop ordered.
“First wait!” he said. Then he picked his phone - this
time a real phone and put on his ear.
“He has told me that he can see that I am in a place
where his men cannot reach. He says that I have escaped from his hands,” the
man shouted, some light of hope flickering in his eyes.
“Put the phone
down and raise up your hands,” the Bishop ordered. He rebuked the spirits and
the man fell and turned several times before coming to a halt, lying on the
back, with hands out-stretched. The Bishop laid a hand on him and ordered him
to sit up. This, he did, and sat up a delivered man.
He was counseled and told to go and sin no more, but the
man would not go until it was well beyond 6:00 pm in the evening.
This is just one of the many things God is doing through
the Bishop Opio Wot a Mungu of New Jerusalem Pentecostal Mission. Every day
people come from near and far and God heals them.

Who we are
New
Jerusalem Pentecostal Ministry is a spiritual ministry that was born in 2010
when Bishop Freeman Opio Wot a Mungu felt the call of God for him to start a healing
and evangelistic ministry to respond to the call and anointing of God upon his
life. He was also fed up of the appalling state the poor leadership in the
Pentecostal church in Lira, the power church before then. After joining up with
some of the people he had previously prayed for or healed, they felt they
needed another church, with another sense of direction. That church was called
a mission to distinguish it from other churches as they were, but also to
suggest something about the model of work of the church. Mission-like, it operates:
moving out, bringing in converts, training and equipping them and sending them
out. This attests to the fact that after 7 years, even with meager resources,
the mission has grown to 20 branches.
We
are therefore, a church that believes solely on hearing from God and faithfully
demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to appear as simple as
possible in our approach and leadership, showing people Christ together with
helping them to grow and bear fruits.
We
desire to follow and teach the doctrine of Christ and Him, crucified. It is the
utmost feeling of our leadership that we should not lead God’s people astray by
teaching them the doctrine of man. This, we do, by listening intently to God
and obeying His voice.
Soon
we are going to refine and document our Tenets of Faith and best practices so
that our posterity may follow from them.
